When we all contribute to a more inclusive workplace, our community and organization thrives.
Respecting and cultivating diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is central to building an effective, high-performing organization. At Aston Carter, each person — by virtue of identity and cultural attributes, as well as individual experiences — brings new perspective to our company. We welcome and value these differences, which contribute to and uplift our whole community.
The foundation of our DE&I program is rooted in three core pillars.
I genuinely care about creating an environment where our people feel safe being who they truly are so that they can focus on their performance, professional goals and personal growth. I have seen that when we encourage our people to be their authentic selves in the workplace, their level of engagement, trust, buy-in and productivity increases dramatically.

Creating real connections and building a community within our Aston Carter family is what makes this place so special. It’s important we all make a concerted effort toward inclusion and diversity so our workforce feels supported and engaged. It’s our collective differences that make our company stronger.
Director of Market Operations — East
Our company goal is to create an environment where every employee is valued and respected for their unique differences. I can certainly say that at Aston Carter, this is a promise that we strive to honor daily. With our DE&I strategy, our objective is to have each person feel that they are welcomed.

Fostering a workplace environment that is diverse, equitable and inclusive is critically important to me as a leader, as it creates a sense of value and belonging for our people. When we're able to respect and incorporate the unique perspectives of our employees, we maximize the potential of our collective workforce. With an engaged workforce, we're then able to drive innovative and creative strategies around DE&I externally in the marketplace, to propel communities and create equitable work experiences in partnership with our clients.
Director of Vertical Sales
At Aston Carter, we seek opportunities to authentically connect with our people by supporting inclusive conversations and events that empower and uplift our communities.
We regularly host internal events that encourage employees to engage in meaningful conversations centered on DE&I. As a community, we aim to keep an open dialogue around issues, achievements and topics our people are motivated by. Through candid conversations, we hope to continuously strengthen our ability to empathize with others — especially when their experience differs from our own.
Aston Carter’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that serve as a resource for members and the organization by fostering a diverse, inclusive work group aligned with our vision, mission and values.
ERGs provide a safe space for people who share common bonds and aids them in supporting one another while solving real business challenges relevant to the ERG members. Beyond this, they also strengthen our culture and increase our employees’ sense of belonging by empowering our people to join and start ERGs that align with their unique interests and needs.
